I had broken down in front of Fruitland Park Auto Repair late at night after closing on my home from work and they had my car 3 days and I explained it dies out after 15 minutes of driving not idleing. They let the car run for 5 hours in the parking lot and said they did not want to take it on the busy road of 441 where there was construction because if it died out they don't have a tow truck. I said a shop without access to a tow truck is bullshit and the only time the car did that is if you are driving it and they said since they saw a business card with my name on it showing I worked for a deal to just take it there. What kind of customer service is that??? Thay also failed to call me and I had to call and most of the time I got a fax tone. Very porly run busiess and from my experience they have no concern for customers so they must not care that much about how they repair cars. A mechanic at my work diagnosed the proble in 5 minutes and it was an ignition module and less that $100 dollar fix. Guess if they can't write up a big bill for repair then they just tell the customer to go F5 themselves. Don't take your car there!!!!!
Repaired A/C on my Avalon timely and at quoted price. Repaired a couple of other issues and didn't charge.
Was on my my way to regular mechanic when car died. Luckily coasted into Fruitland Park Auto Repair. Told Harry my problem and said he would call me back in a couple of hours. Called me within the hour - fixed the problem, changed my oil and rotated my tires for a fair price. Friendly, honest, prompt. Thanks Harry for your outstanding customer service!
